CHATSWORTH, Calif.— (BUSINESS WIRE) — Oct. 8, 2002 — Natrol, Inc. (Nasdaq:NTOL — News), a manufacturer and marketer of branded dietary supplements, today announced that Gordon F. Brunner has joined its board of directors.

Mr. Brunner's career includes 40 years with Procter & Gamble where he headed that Company's worldwide research and development as its Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, as well as serving on P&G's Board of Directors. Mr. Brunner is the recipient of numerous career achievement accolades including a medal from the Industrial Research Institute, and similar awards from the American Chemical Society, the University of Wisconsin, Xavier University and Procter & Gamble.
