Non-Profit Alliance Donates Supplements To Fight Vitamin Deficiencies In World Population
LOS ANGELES, CA – December 20, 2005 – Natrol Inc. (NASDAQ: NTOL) – Natrol Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Elliott Balbert, has been named to the board of directors of Vitamin Angel Alliance (www.VitaminAngels.org). Vitamin Angels is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing basic nutrition, fighting vitamin A deficiency childhood blindness and other vitamin deficiency diseases worldwide. Last year the organization donated 23.4 million supplements to people in over 40 countries around the world.

Mr. Balbert was honored earlier this year in the Congressional Record of the 109th Congress for his work as the outgoing president of the Dietary Supplement Education Alliance (DSEA).
