At this event, Expo West attendees can sample great-tasting dishes -- including a bread salad, pesto sauce, pasta dish, and dessert -- made with Carb Intercept® Sprinkles “To Go!” and prepared by Chef Gerard Viverito, a New York-based culinary educator who operates an organic fine-food catering company specializing in sustainable cuisine. Additionally, the chef will discuss the important role of carbohydrates and demonstrate how healthy ingredients can be incorporated into comfort foods to reduce starch without compromising taste.
Also speaking at this seminar will be satisfied Natrol® Carb Intercept® user Julia Havey, to tell the story of her recent 120 pound weight-loss. Julia and her daughter, Taylor Havey, were featured in a First Magazine article about Carb Intercept® and Phase 2 Carb Controller™ (page 28 in the Dec. 15, 2008 issue). All seminar attendees will receive a free product sample and recipes.
