Codex Alimentarius Commission
The Codex Alimentarius Commission is a United Nations body responsible for implementation of the Food and Agriculture Organization/World Health Organization Joint Food Standards Program. This program was established to develop international food standards to enhance consumer protection and ensure fair international trade in food products.
Natrol fully supports the efforts of the Natural Products Association (formerly known as the NNFA) regarding the Codex. The NPA is working to ensure that the Dietary Supplementation and Health and Education Act (DSHEA) freedoms are adopted internationally through Codex.
